CNS AP Headline Alteration Watch
Topic: CNSNews.com

When real news organizations published the Associated Press article on Amine El Khalifi for plotting to detonate a suicide vest in the U.S. Capitol, they used headlines like "Terror suspect arrested near Capitol in FBI sting."

When the Republican stenographers at CNSNews.com got to it, they decided such a headline wasn't biased enough. What did they go with? "Illegal Alien Moroccan Arrested Near Capitol As He Allegedly Believed He Was About to Commit Suicide Bombing."

We're pretty sure the AP did not use the phrase "Illegal Alien Moroccan" in the headline it sent out. Just call this yet another instance of CNS adding right-wing bias to the headlines of AP articles, something that may very well violate AP guidelines.
