CNSNews.com's selective obsession with the number of soldiers killed in Afghanistan continues like clockwork with a new article by Edwin Mora detailing how many were killed in January.
Also, as usual, the word "Iraq" does not appear in the article. Thus, when Mora writes that last year "was the deadliest year of the war for American troops" in Afghanistan, it lacks the context of the fact that it's still far lower than the casualty rate in the peak years of the war in Iraq.
And when Mora writes that "approximately one American soldier has died in Afghanistan each day since Obama officially became president," you don't learn that an average of approximately two soldiers died every day of the Iraq war under George W. Bush's leadership.
